It doesn’t get any better than that!” H45: 45 years of Terror will take place from September 29th – October 1st at the Pasadena Convention Center in beautiful sunny Southern California. These prints depict Michael Myers stalking Sabrina Spellman, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and even Salem. – Via Bloody Disgusting, Archie Comics have announced they will be at H45: 45 years of Terror, a Halloween convention, where they will debut two crossover prints by artist Matt Talbot. Captain America: The Shield of Sam Wilson hits bookstores on June 11, 2024, shortly before Captain America: Brave New World‘s released on July 26. The short stories within are inspired by the character’s comic book runs. McKinney, Gary Phillips, Sheree Renée Thomas, Alex Simmons, Nicole Givens Kurtz, and many others. – Marvel also revealed Captain America: The Shield of Sam Wilson, a new prose anthology from Titan Books by best-selling Black American writers, including Kyoko M, L.L. Mancin was the winner of a Marvel training program for artists at Disneyland Paris earlier this year, and her other work includes horror titles like Band of Bards’s “From the Static.” Her first issue, due out October 18, will see Miles team up with Blade against new villain Hightail, and see the younger Spider-Man wear a new, Blade-esque costume with a coat. – Marvel have announced Federica Mancin will take over as artist on “Miles Morales: Spider-Man” with issue #11 in October.
“Black Sight” #1 goes on sale September 26th from comiXology Originals, and sports a cover by Dave Johnson. Alex spends the night with a mysterious woman, only to find her dead in the morning, and though she is taken to prison, there’s “more going on than meets the eye,” as other mysterious people watch her, intending to use her in an experiment. Set in 1964, the book follows Alex Greer, who arrives in Amsterdam after her mother passes away. – Via a Screen Rant exclusive, comiXology have announced “Black Sight,” a horror comic written by Stephanie Phillips, with art from Conor Boyle, and lettering by Tom Napolitano.
